Local church members have been shocked and upset by a recent burglary.
Police in Aberaeron are investigating a burglary at Holy Trinity Church, Bridge Street, which occurred sometime between 9am on September 22 and 5pm, September 25.
The church was open to members of the public, but the offender gained entry to the locked vestry of the church and removed a Viewsonic projector. The projector was in a black carry bag which would look like a laptop carry case.
A Dyfed-Powys police spokesman said: "This incident has shocked and upset members of the church and the local community.
"Anyone who witnessed anything suspicious, or anyone with any information is asked to contact PC 117 Wilcox Brooke at Aberaeron Police Station by calling 101."
