A Ffostrasol pensioner is to stand trial accused of assaulting his wife.
David Jacob, aged 77, of Hafod Wenog Farm, pleaded not guilty to assaulting Carol Jacob by beating on December 29, when he appeared before Aberystwyth magistrates on Wednesday.
A trial date was listed for March 9, and Jacob was released on bail with the condition not to contact the complainant, except through solicitors.
