Discover the fascinating history of the Teifi Estuary from Neolithic times to the modern era with local historian Glen Johnson at Castell Henllys Iron Age Village.

Glen will be tracing some of the monuments and buildings that have given the area around the Teifi Estuary its character over the centuries.

He said: “The talk will look at the surviving relics of the historic landscape and put them into context, highlighting how they emphasise the architectural and archaeological diversity of the rural Welsh landscape.

“People will also be able to find out how changing ideas and social conditions transformed our landscape and understand why some relics have survived while others have been lost.”

The talk will be illustrated with many previously unseen images and will be punctuated by Glen's quirky humour.

The Teifi Estuary Heritage talk by Glen Johnson will take place at Castell Henllys at 7.30pm on Wednesday, October 14. Tickets are £3.
