Tresaith beach had been closed by the local police following the discovery of a possible unexploded shell.
The suspected shell was found on the beach and the police were called to the scene at 9.20am on September 9.
The Bomb Disposal Unit were on route to the scene of the possible explosive device by 10.50am.
It was later discovered that the shell was not explosive and the bomb unit took the shell away to be disposed safely.
Tresaith beach has now been reopened according to the local policing team.
