A LAMPETER motorist has been fined £66 and had his licence endorsed with three penalty points after being clocked by a speed camera driving a Skoda at 69 mph in a 60 mph zone.
Carmarthenshire magistrates sitting at Llanelli heard that Edward Henry Maynard Field, aged 40, of Ciliau Aeron, committed the offence on the A487 at Synod Inn at 9.33am on September 8.
Field, who pleaded guilty to the charge, was also ordered to pay a victim’s surcharge of £34.
