THERE will be a special showing of a critically acclaimed play in a Cardigan theatre.

Mwldan will be showing the National Theatre’s critically acclaimed revival of Skylight for one night only. The performance stars Bill Nighy and Carey Mulligan and will be returning to the big screen after almost 10 years.

Skylight follows schoolteacher Kyra who receives an unexpected visit from her former lover on a bitterly cold London evening. The two attempt to rekindle their once passionate relationship as the night progresses, only to find themselves locked in a dangerous battle of opposing ideologies and mutual desires.

The performance was written by David Hare and directed by Stephen Daldry. It was recorded from the West End at Wyndham’s Theatre in 2014 and will be broadcast at Mwldan on Thursday, November 16 at 7pm. Tickets cost £13.50 or £12.50 for concessions and can be bought at www.mwldan.co.uk or by calling 01239 621200 between 12pm and 8pm, Tuesday to Sunday.
