An art exhibition will be held in Rhosygilwen to celebrate 60 years of painting.

The event, a joint celebration by local art groups from Cardigan, Newport, Rhosygilwen and Boncath, will be hosted from March 28 to April 1.

Mary Hugh, a longstanding member of the Cardigan Art Society since its start in 1964, said: "Painting has helped me connect to my community and also make me see this wonderful environment around me."

She exhibited her first painting in 1964 and has continued to paint and exhibit without fail.

The stunning landscapes and coastline of the region have provided artists with an abundant source of inspiration over the decades.

This exhibition, open from 10.30am to 4pm each day, offers more than just visual delights.

Visitors can also enjoy cream teas at the Orangery cafe.

With full accessibility in place and ample free parking, the event is poised to welcome a wide range of patrons.

All artworks are affordably priced.
