AN AMMANFORD man was accused of supplying a series of drugs and encouraging people online to commit arson.

Michael Arundel, 34, of Mynydd Bach, appeared at Llanelli Magistrates’ Court on May 3 where he faced seven offences.

Arundel was charged with two offences of encouraging the commission of an offence.

It was alleged that he sent messages on the Telegram app on February 28 encouraging someone to commit arson, and on April 26 encouraging someone to commit arson with intent to endanger life.

He was also charged with a series of drug offences.

Arundel was accused of being concerned in the supply of cocaine (Class A) and cannabis (Class B) between last August and this April, ecstasy (Class A) between last August and November, and ketamine (Class B) on April 19.

He was also charged with possession with intent to supply cocaine – relating to 506.55 grams of cocaine in Llanelli on April 29.

Arundel was remanded in to custody, and will appear at Swansea Crown Court on June 3 to enter his pleas.
