Following the return of talented central midfielder James Evans from Goodwick United of the Pembrokeshire League there was more good news for Costcutter League club Cardigan Town with the capture of striker John Lumb from neighbours St Dogmaels.
The pacey front-runner was with the Magpies last season but transferred to Saints where he enjoyed success as the Teifi Estuary villagers lifted the Bay Cup and finished runners-up in Division One.
Town manager Seamus Doherty said “With James and John having signed others could be interested in joining and as things stand Cardigan Town can look forward with confidence to the new season starting next month.”
