LADIES SECTION
On Tuesday, June 23, Shelagh Greer held her Captain's Day competition.
Thirty-two ladies entered with Helen Studd winning with 41 points.
In second place was Helena Horrocks with 38 and in third was Gloria Parsons on 38.
Other winners on the day were Annette Wilson for best 36 handicap with 38, Lorraine Brookes for best front nine, Margaret Short best back nine, Helen Studd longest drive on the 14th, Myfi Jones nearest the pin on the 10th and Nicola Edwardes for nearest the pin on the 16th.
Captain Shelagh Greer thanked all who had made the day a great success and was presented with assortment of garden shrubbery from the ladies section for all her hard work.
