LLANDYSUL lost in round two of the Welsh Cricket Cup on Sunday when the Teifisiders went down to an eight-wicket defeat at the hands of South Wales Association Division One rivals Skewen.
The visitors posted 121-9 in their allotted 40 overs with opener Llewellyn Hughes top scorer on 27 and home medium-pacer Ian Kriescher returning figures of 3-25.
In the Skewen reply Dean Kriescher was in fine fettle, the opener scoring all round the wicket in an undefeated innings of 58 and Steve Jones was unbeaten on 18 as the homesters reached their target for the loss of two wickets in the 24th over.
