A GROUP of 11 represented Poppit in the Welsh Surf Life Saving Nipper Championships in Barry recently.
Congratulations to all for a successful weekend bringing home seven medals and mostly top ten finishes for the others.
Absent from the photo is Lucy Goss who won two Bronze medals. Pictured are Lowri Adams-Lewis who won one bronze; Leon Goss won one silver; Tomos Lewis won one silver and one bronze; Zac West won one silver. Also in the team Lol Maskell, Emily Cross, Finn Greenland, Louie Greenland, Ella Clegg and Charlie Woodcraft.
And Poppit Surf Life Club successfully retained all three trophies in the West Wales Championships held in Poppit at the beginning of August.
Teams travelled from Aberystwyth, Llanelli and Newport and an enjoyable day was had by all.
The hosts won the Nipper category, Junior category and the overall most points gained by a single club shield.
