LLECHRYD'S title aspirations in Division Three of the Pembrokeshire Cricket League were dealt a blow with a 55-run defeat at the hands of

mid-table Lawrenny 2nds at the Castle Malgwyn ground.

A four-wicket win over Herbrandston moved Saundersfoot to within a point of the Teifisiders while third in the table Haverfordwest 3rds are a

further 20 points adrift.

Adam Gilbert was best of the visiting bowlers as he returned figures of 4-46 and Mike Godfrey picked up two wickets.

None of the Llechryd batsmen could stamp any authority and the visitors were dismissed for 109.
