ANOTHER classy innings from Rhydian Harries earned Llandysul a draw against Gowerton in Division One of the South Wales Cricket Association.

As the visitors replied to a Gowerton total of 200 in 44 overs they lost Meurig Jones and Gareth Chapple cheaply before Harries at number four strode to the middle and stroked 12 fours in an unbeaten 89 off 160 balls and was given good support from Ben Edkins in the middle order who made 33 as the innings closed on 172-7 in 56 overs.

After being put in Gowerton lost opener Joshua Mathews who was run out by Ben Edkins for one and Adam Wright went soon afterwards when caught by Rhydian Harries off Ieuan Paske.

The homesters were indebted to Bevan Daniels at first wicket down who hit seven fours and two sixes in a fine innings of 67 off just 56 balls.

Farooq Shah returned figures of 3-27 in ten overs and there were two wickets apiece for Arfon Jones and Rhydian Harries.

Adam Wright took two wickets for Gowerton.

In Division Five bottom of the pile Llandysul 2nds lost by nine wickets against visitors Llanelli 2nds.
